“My first contact with Inspire Solar was through their sales channel. The sales person arrived on time and was thorough in explaining not only the particulars of the Inspire System but also the green energy credits system and the benefits available from the energy providers.
After purchase the system was installed within 4 weeks. This was impressive as I have friends who had purchased from another provider prior to me and were still waiting for an installation date. The installation went smoothly. The installers arrived on time and the installation was complete within 4 hours.
Since then I have been generating up to 11 Kwh on a good sunny day and even on rainy day, I’m still getting 2-3Kwh. This saves me somewhere between $0.60 on a rainy day and, on my best day I’ll get around $4.00 back. I’m still waiting for my first energy bill but I’m estimating around $180 in savings off my normal bill. A point to note is that the system is rated at 1.6Kw, however it has peaked at over 1.8Kw.

We have had a good experience so far. The sales consultant explained the necessary details of the product to us very simply so we could easily decide whether this product is suitable for us. The costs were very reasonable especially given we only paid a deposit up front then pay the rest, interest free, over three years. We estimate it will take 3-4 years for the system to pay for itself, although if Brisbane’s current wet weather continues it may take a bit longer! The solar panels were installed just a few weeks after purchase but Energex took a while longer to do their bit. Now when the sun shines we can see our electricity meter going “backwards”.
