Electricity prices are rising as a result of network charges, which are the costs to maintain our electricity networks (the poles and wires) and green schemes, like the Commonwealth’s Renewable Energy Target scheme, which will increase bills by 6% (approximately $75 per household). There were plenty of games to play from ten pin bowling to a giant connect four, face painting for the kids and again the Inspire Solar van made an appearance and goodie bags were handed out to the crowd of people who visited the display centre.
